Djokovic and Glutens

According to the Wall Street Journal, Novak Djokovic’s current success may be due to a change in his diet. “Since last year, he’s swearing off pasta, pizza, beer, French bread, Corn Flakes, pretzels, empanadas, Mallomars and Twizzlers—anything with gluten.”

Learn to say: “Nice Shot!”

Yes, I am competitive and like to win much more than I tolerate losing; but I do hope I can follow my own preachings to friends and not play foolishly enough to get injured.

Lifespan of a Racquet

How long does a tennis racquet frame last? Not until it breaks; but how long does it effectively hold its resiliency to play with the ‘pop’ you had when you first bought it?

There were three flights of four teams each in our 9.0 division; with the winners of each and the #2 team with the best record moved onto the semis. As it turned out, SW won our division and S California was the best second; so we had two teams move into the semis on Sunday [...]
